چکیده
Five non-systemic fungicides: chlorothalonil, carbendazim (12%) + mancozeb (63%), captan 50WP, dodine 65WP and copper oxychloride 50WP four systemic fungicides viz., difenoconozole 25EC, hexaconozole 5EC mycobutanil 10WP were evaluated against Aschochyta blight of chickpea caused by Ascochyta rabiei. The in-vitro evaluation through poisoned food technique at five different concentrations: 50,100, 250, 500 1000 µg ml-1 showed that (63%) proved most effective resulted in highest mycelial growth inhibition (82.27%) the pathogen followed with 67.99%. least efficacious fungicide was only 29.81% inhibition. Among concentrations 25, 50, 100, 200 ml-1, to be 90.23% difenconozole (71.24%). Myclobutanil among 52.76% three methods used for efficacy bio-agents, revealed seed treatment lowest disease incidence (15.0%) intensity (4.02%). biological control agents used, seeds treated Bacillus subtilis which 32.25 20.04%, respectively. Combination comprising concentration 109spores foliar spray 63% WP+ carbendazim12%WP 2.5% (7.80%) (4.82%) while 109 spores ml-1alone 53.80% 37.25%. It was, however superior than where 80.00% 51.34 %,

The Detection and Characterization of QoI-Resistant Didymella rabiei Causing Ascochyta Blight of Chickpea in Montana
Ascochyta blight (AB) of pulse crops (chickpea, field pea, and lentils) causes yield loss in Montana, where 1.2 million acres was planted to pulses in 2016. Pyraclostrobin and azoxystrobin, quinone outside inhibitor (QoI) fungicides, have been the choice of farmers for the management of AB in pulses. However, a G143A mutation in the cytochrome b gene has been reported to confer resistance to Qo...
متن کاملMating Type Groups of Ascochyta rabiei (Teleomorph: Didymella rabiei), the Causal Agent of Chickpea Blight in Central Anatolia
The distribution of mating types of Ascochyta rabiei (teleomorph: Didymella rabiei) was studied on isolates collected from chickpea growing areas of Central Anatolia. Mating type assessments of 45 isolates from 6 different provinces were conducted under laboratory conditions. After keeping for 5-6 weeks, the pseudothecial development and ascospore production were observed on chickpea stem piece...
متن کاملGenetical Analysis of Ascochyta Blight Resistance in Chickpea
Ascochyta blight, caused by Ascochyta rabiei (Pass.) Lab. is a devastating disease of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) worldwide. Available genetic variation for Ascochyta blight resistance in genus Cicer has prompted interest in the development and use of resistant cultivars that can be sown in autumn and, to increase seed yield in chickpea. Understanding the mode of inheritance of resistance to ...
متن کاملAn Update on Genetic Resistance of Chickpea to Ascochyta Blight
Ascochyta blight (AB) caused by Ascochyta rabiei (Pass.) Labr. is an important and widespread disease of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) worldwide. The disease is particularly severe under cool and humid weather conditions. Breeding for host resistance is an efficient means to combat this disease. In this paper, attempts have been made to summarize the progress made in identifying resistance sour...
